US-bound flights return to Heathrow and Paris after suffering almost-simultaneous mid-air emergencies over British airspace

A Kuwait 777 plane had to re-land at Heathrow Airport shortly after take-off while an Air France 010 aircraft returned to Charles De Gaulle in Paris.
